Faith Inkubators Advent 2026 is designed for congregations across the mainline Christian tradition. Rooted in the Revised Common Lectionary, it brings children, youth, adults, and older adults together for a four-week journey toward the birth of Jesus. Use it as a complete Advent series, alongside the traditions and worship planning you already have, or as a toolbox of ready-to-use PowerPoints, skits, Bible verse songs, small-group resources, activities, and more.

Advent 2026 is intentionally ecumenical rather than denomination-specific. The resource is rooted in Scripture and the Revised Common Lectionary and is designed for use across Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, UCC, Reformed, and other mainline Christian congregations.

Signs give us information. They show us the way and help us understand where we are going. These first two weeks explore signs of hope, power, humility, warning, and expectation as God's people prepare to receive Christ. The call is simple: be ready, be alert, be watchful, and prepare the way.
Behold the Son
“Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.” — Luke 1:38
God's messenger comes to Mary with an extraordinary calling. Her faithful response becomes part of God's saving work in the world. These weeks invite participants to consider Mary's willingness, the promise of Jesus, and how God may be calling each of us to help bring Christ into the world today.
FAITH5 at Church and at Home
FAITH5 provides a simple five-step rhythm for small-group conversation at church. Weekly take-home bookmarks also give families an optional way to continue the Advent conversation at home.
Home participation is an optional extension of the congregational experience. Churches can encourage families to use the weekly FAITH5 bookmarks without making participation at home a requirement for successful use of Advent 2026.
