How Head to the Heart Pricing Is Different
Head to the Heart is not priced per student. The annual prices shown on this page are the total annual license prices for the congregation. A congregation does not purchase a separate student workbook, student license, or curriculum package for each confirmation student.
Instead, the annual price is based on the congregation's Average Weekly Worship Attendance (AWWA). Every pricing tier receives the same complete Head to the Heart curriculum: all 91 lessons across all 11 theme sets, along with the included leader, student, family, PowerPoint, small-group, and support resources.
This means the number of students in your confirmation class does not determine your Head to the Heart price. If additional students join during the year, there are no additional student materials to purchase and no additional Head to the Heart fee simply because the class grew.

How Your Annual Price Is Determined
Head to the Heart uses a tiered pricing model based on your congregation's Average Weekly Worship Attendance, or AWWA. AWWA means the average number of people who attend worship in person each week. It is not your total church membership, confirmation enrollment, or online viewership.
Most Lutheran congregations report their official AWWA annually to their denomination. We recommend using that figure because it reflects the congregation's full program year rather than attendance during a single season.
