We regularly review our resources, correct errors as we find them (often thanks to leaders like you who let us know), and add new files and improvements along the way. This page lists every file we've updated, when it changed, and what was fixed or added, so you can decide whether you need to download it again.
How to get an updated file
Updated files replace the originals in our store, so the next time you download a theme set or Stone you will receive the current version. See How to Download Your Files for step-by-step instructions.
Before you download again, please keep in mind:
- Each download includes the complete theme set or Stone, not just the updated file, and counts toward your download limit. If you run out of downloads, email info@faithink.com and we'll gladly reset your count.
- If you have customized any files (such as PowerPoints or Word documents), save your edited versions somewhere separate so they aren't replaced by the new download.
Should I download it again?
Each update is marked one of two ways:
RecommendedThe update affects content you teach or use with students, such as a wrong answer, incorrect information, a file that doesn't open properly, or a new version of a Stone.
OptionalThe update is a cosmetic fix, such as a typo or formatting change, or a bonus addition or enhancement, such as a new convenience file. Your current files are still fine to use.
Found an error or have a suggestion?
Let us know at info@faithink.com. If you found an error, include the resource name, the file name, and the page or slide number.
In some QuizBowl questions, the Leader Reference Guide marked the wrong answer as correct. If you use the guide to prepare or to follow along during QuizBowl, and you downloaded any of these theme sets on or before September 24, 2026, please download it again:
- Old Testament: OT01 Old Testament Overview, OT04 People of the Promise, OT09 Wisdom Literature
- Life of Jesus: LJ01 Gospel Overview
- Apostles' Creed: AC04 Jesus the Savior, AC08 Church and Saints, AC09 Forgiveness of Sins, AC10 Resurrection and Eternal Life
- Lord's Prayer: LP02 Hallowed
- Luther and the Small Catechism: LC02 Protesting Professor, LC03 Trouble, Trouble, Trouble
- Lutheran Life: LL01 Baptism - One Lord, Faith
- Confirmation Promises: CP05 Strive for Justice and Peace
The reveal slide for QuizBowl Question 9 did not show a correct answer. Both PowerPoints for this lesson now highlight the correct answer. To get the updated files, re-download the Luther and the Small Catechism theme set.
One QuizBowl slide was accidentally duplicated in place of a separate question slide. The PowerPoint and the Leader Reference Guide now include both slides as intended. To get the updated files, re-download the Apostles' Creed theme set.
Faith Stepping Stones is being completely overhauled. Over the coming months, each Stone will be released with brand new PowerPoint presentations, updated Leader's Guides, new skits, refreshed content, shorter session times, and more. Check back here to see when each new Stone is available.
Each new Stone replaces the previous version of that Stone. Downloads are one complete Stone at a time, so re-downloading a Stone replaces only that Stone. If you have customized any files from an earlier version, save them somewhere separate before you download again.
The Leaders Toolbox in Stones 1, 2, and 3 now includes an editable Word version of each Blessing Service. The file name begins with "2b - Liturgy Blessing" and it sits next to the existing PDF. It contains the same text as the PDF with simpler formatting, so you can adapt the service for your congregation, for example by changing "baptism" to "dedication" or adding your own baptismal promises. The places you are most likely to change are highlighted in yellow.
The Blessing Service PDFs have not changed. If you don't plan to customize the service, you don't need to download again. To get the new files, re-download Stone 1, Stone 2, or Stone 3.
The completely updated Stone 3 is now available. If you have a current Faith Stepping Stones license, re-download Stone 3 to receive the new version at no charge.
The completely updated Stone 2 is now available. If you have a current Faith Stepping Stones license, re-download Stone 2 to receive the new version at no charge.
The completely updated Stone 1 is now available. If you have a current Faith Stepping Stones license, re-download Stone 1 to receive the new version at no charge.
Stewardship has been updated and refreshed throughout. If you have a current Stewardship license, re-download to receive the updated version at no charge.
